1. Service Description

Southern Comfort Cleaning provides professional residential cleaning services in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas, including Leland, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Hampstead, and Castle Hayne. We offer the following cleaning services:

  • Standard recurring cleaning (weekly, biweekly, monthly)
  • Deep cleaning for thorough, top-to-bottom results
  • Move-out cleaning to leave your home spotless for the next occupant
  • Online booking with transparent, upfront pricing

2. Quote Estimates

Pricing is calculated from information you provide in our booking form, including home size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, cleaning type, and service frequency. The price displayed at checkout is your confirmed service price, not an estimate.

If conditions on-site differ significantly from the details provided in the booking form (e.g., additional rooms, excessive clutter, or post-construction debris), we may need to adjust the scope and price before beginning work. You are free to decline at that time — your deposit will be refunded.

3. Deposit Required

A $50 deposit is required to lock in same-day pickup service. This deposit:

  • Reserves your cleaning slot and dispatches our crew
  • Applies as credit toward your final service price (you only pay the remaining balance on completion)
  • Is refundable if you cancel 2 or more hours before your scheduled cleaning window
  • Is non-refundable if you cancel less than 2 hours before your appointment, or if you are not present when the crew arrives
  • Is fully refunded if Southern Comfort Cleaning cancels (weather, staffing issue, etc.) or if you decline service after we provide an updated in-person estimate

For scheduled future-date cleanings (not same-day), deposit is optional — you may book without payment.

4. Scope Adjustment

If our crew arrives and the home conditions are materially different from the details provided in the booking form (additional rooms, excessive clutter, biohazard concerns), we will provide an updated in-person estimate before beginning work. You may:

  • Accept the new price — your $50 deposit applies to the new total
  • Decline service — we refund your deposit in full
  • Modify scope (reduce areas or tasks) until we reach an agreed price

We will not begin work until you confirm the final price in person.

5. Scheduling and Cancellation

Booking: Submit your request through southern-comfortcleaning.com or by replying to our text. We respond within 30 minutes during operating hours (7 AM - 9 PM, 7 days a week).

Same-day cleaning: When booked before 5 PM and deposit is paid, we strive to begin cleaning within 2 hours of booking.

Cancellation: Cancellations 2+ hours before your appointment receive full deposit refund. Cancellations less than 2 hours before forfeit the deposit.

6. Payment Terms

A $50 deposit is paid via credit/debit card through Stripe at the time of booking (for same-day service). Remaining balance is due on completion of the job.

Remaining balance accepted: cash, Venmo, CashApp. We do not accept checks or credit cards for the final balance. All deposits applied to final service price.

7. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on our quote form, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Southern Comfort Cleaning related to your cleaning service, including booking confirmations, scheduling updates, and service reminders.

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOPto opt out at any time; you'll receive one final confirmation message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (910) 249-9306 or hello@southern-comfortcleaning.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any services.

8. Property and Liability

You represent that you own (or are authorized to grant access to) the property where cleaning services are requested. You are responsible for securing valuables, fragile items, and personal belongings before our crew arrives.

We exercise reasonable care during cleaning but are not liable for incidental damage to surfaces, fixtures, or items that result from normal cleaning operations, pre-existing wear, or improper installation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Southern Comfort Cleaning and BlueRing Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service.

10. AI Disclaimer

Our website uses AI to generate a friendly, plain-language summary of your booking details after you complete the form. This summary is for convenience only and does not affect your price. Your service price is determined entirely by the form inputs you provide (home size, cleaning type, frequency) and is calculated deterministically — the AI does not set or influence pricing.

11. Service Area

We currently serve Wilmington, Leland, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Hampstead, Castle Hayne, Ogden, Monkey Junction, and Porters Neck, NC. Service outside these areas may be available with a travel surcharge.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Hanover County, NC.
